Comprehensive workshop on Maternal Cardiac Arrest

We successfully conducted a comprehensive workshop on Maternal Cardiac Arrest at Sohail Trust Hospital on Saturday, 11th April 2026. This educational session aimed to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of healthcare professionals in managing maternal emergencies effectively. The workshop focused on: ✔️ Early recognition of maternal cardiac arrest ✔️ Airway management, oxygenation, and ventilation ✔️ Left Lateral Uterine Displacement and CPR techniques ✔️ Post-cardiac arrest stabilization of the mother ✔️ Targeted temperature management The session was organized by Prof. Dr. Farzana Aamir, Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and facilitated by Dr. Maryam Asif, an American Heart Association-certified BLS/ACLS/PALS & ASLS Instructor. Participants included postgraduate trainees, house officers, MBBS students, and nursing staff, all of whom benefited from this informative and hands-on training.
